Anyone who follows us on Instagram (@edmondsonbridalcouture) will have seen some sneak peeks already, but I’m so excited to say that a couple of my dresses have been featured in a 10 page spread in British Bride Magazine!
This gorgeous feature was shot in Mexico and it’s absolutely packed with inspiration for any destination brides heading off to warmer climes. Brides who dream of bohemian vibes, sun drenched beaches, glistening seas, and relaxed villa venues.
Inspiration for this shoot came from the native blue agave plant, the base ingredient in Tequila, and I love how the florist (Vanessa Jaimes Floral Design) teamed my dress with some incredible succulent and eucalyptus-based arrangements – really cool.
The first dress I chose for this shoot is a modern take on a classic A-line halter-neck. Finished with beautiful floral 3D textured detail, which has floral appliques hand sewn to the bodice & hem this backless wedding gown is a perfect combination of elegance and classic romance.
The second dress is delicate while at the same time being a little bit daring. With its intricate floral detail, this gown has the most beautiful movement created by layers of sheer overlay of tulle. An elegant choice for any bride looking for a light, floaty sleeved dress.
As a bespoke wedding dress designer, it’s so great when a dress gets featured in a magazine, but I have to say, this shoot is next level. And I can’t wait to talk to any destination brides reading this about where you’re heading and discuss how we can create the dress of your dreams to go with the destination of your dreams.
